The city of Candiac Recipient of the 2011 Canadian Willis Award for Innovation

The city of Candiac was awarded on june 1st. the 2011 Willis Award for innovation for cities with a population under 20 000 by registering at the 2011 Award of Excellence program managed by the Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators by presenting FLAMES.NET as their new fire department accountability tool.

New "Mixed" capture mode which combines the two current approaches.
You asked for it and we listened ! Many of you wanted a capture mode that would allow personnel management while being able to see teams on floors, a mix of the two current modes. That is how "mixed" mode was born allowing Flames.Net to fulfill every fire department needs.

 

Long lasting battery system for the rugged case.
Our case equipped with the rugged computer is now available with a battery system comparable to the one found on a laptop allowing you to work for 4 to 7 hours when fully charged! This should allow you to respond to most of your intervention without the need to plug in the computer.

Scale-up of the hardware components of the rugged computer.
We upgraded the processing power of the unit and added the brightess screen available so that you can manage all of your interventions in all sun conditions.
Candiac city and IvSoft win the C.S.S.T. Innovation 2010 contest.
On October 13th, Candiac's fire department won the C.S.S.T Innovation contest by implementing IvSoft's software FLAMES.NET. We are now a finalist for the provincial contest that will take place in Québec March 29th 2011. You can see the video in the NEWS section of this website. Many thanks to Candiac's fire department!
